In spring 2015, Maja Fernqvist was selected to direct the short film CONSUMED, one of seven short films exploring the origin stories of characters from the Twilight Saga. The Twilight Saga creator Stephenie Meyer, Lionsgate and Women In Film launched the initiative to support and promote the next voices of women filmmakers. A powerful all-female panel of Hollywood talent selected the screenplays and filmmakers from the 1,300 scripts submitted and 150 directors’ pitches. The seven final films premiered on Facebook and CONSUMED had over 3 million views and 130 000 likes in just the two first weeks.
